The education system in all places, regardless of the form of community quarantine has been greatly affected due to the COVID-19 pandemic. All aspects of public services, in particular the DepEd community is very much challenged by this unexpected health crisis. From the central office down to the school level, the education sector is trying its very best to cope with the impending new normal.
Salawag Elementary School, located in the City of Dasmariñas, Cavite commits itself to ensure educational continuity in the midst of this challenge. With health and safety as its prime considerations, the learning process must find its way to the hearts and minds of the local kids to somehow give hope and stability thus consequently contributing to the normalization of activities in the country.
It is for this reason that the school has crafted its own Learning Continuity Plan based on relevant legal directives both from the national agencies and local government entities.
